Information on photo and video recordings
As part of the “120 years of STEINLEN” event, photographs will be taken on 29.08.2025. Below we inform you about the type and purpose of the image recordings, the legal basis and your rights.

Type of recordings:
Photographs and video recordings.

The images are used for the following purposes:
Provision of images for participants; internal image database or image archive; use in the internal network (intranet); provision to sponsors/partners; presentation and advertising of our own services; references to other and similar events; our own print media and comparable publications; advertising purposes; public reporting on the event; public relations work; use on our website; publication in social media; image database or image archive accessible and usable by everyone (e.g. image download area with a media selection for reporting purposes) Image archive (e.g. image download area with a media selection for reporting purposes); forwarding of images to the press and media; use in video productions; video coverage of the event; presentation and illustrative purposes;

Legal basis
The processing is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR.

Voluntary participation
Your consent is entirely voluntary. Refusal or withdrawal of consent has no adverse consequences for your participation in the event.

Storage period of the image recordings:
The images are generally stored for a period of 3 years after the event. Original recordings may be stored for longer for internal archiving purposes and to safeguard copyright claims. Published recordings remain accessible for as long as the respective publications exist.

References to third-party images:
Photographs may also be taken by the participants of the event on their own responsibility and within the scope of what is permitted by law. We ask participants to show mutual consideration. Media representatives may be on site during the event and take photographs on their own responsibility.

Information for minors
For participants under the age of 16: Consent must be given by a parent or legal guardian.
For participants between the ages of 16 and 18: You can give your consent yourself, but we recommend that you obtain the consent of a parent or guardian.

Your rights:
You can assert your right to information or correction, deletion and restriction of the processing of the image recordings and can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. You can object to the processing of image recordings concerning you at any time. The revocation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out until the revocation. After revocation, we will not make any new publications with your image recordings.
